Continued remarkable rebirth with Cardinals by posting a 2-1 record with a 2.85 ERA in 47.1 innings...the oldest active player in the Major Leagues (42)...allowed just seven walks and three home runs this season...was unscored upon in 43 of his last 51 appearances...posted a 2.00 ERA at Busch Stadium including .191 opponents batting average...got win in Game 2 of Division Series against the Padres.

1995 SEASON
Went 5-1 with two saves and a 2.42 ERA in 49 games with Oakland....Walked only nine batters in 44.2 innings with the A'sand limited opposing batters to a .231average....Pitched in three games for the New York Yankees late in the season.
